The Spring Lake Animal Shelter is commited to:

• sheltering and nurturing lost or abandoned pets while seeking loving caregivers who will provide them with a permanent home.

• being a community educator for the benefit of its pet population.

• funding and maintaining programs dedicated to eliminating the pet overpopulation problem.

• providing support to the pet caregivers of our community.

The Shelter offers services, such as finding homes for adoptable animals, providing shelter for stray animals and offering assistance to owners and finders of lost animals. In addition, the shelter sponsors various community education and outreach programs throughout the year.

In addition to its on-site and field personnel, the shelter is assisted by the efforts of our volunteers who work with the animals in our care and participate in various education and fundraising programs.

We are starting a new “sponsored pet” adoption program.

Thanks to the local community and business owners, a
”sponsored pet” can be adopted at a reduced adoption fee. A sponsored pet is a pet that came into the shelter, and a very kind person and /or business has donated half of the adoption fee.

 


Featured Pets


Parker
Parker is a 5 yr. old neutered male Foxhound mix. He is wonderful with people and children, likes to go for walks and car rides, and knows some commands. He needs to be crated when alone as he has some separation anxiety. Crating is an easy fix and not cruel, giving up on a dog is cruel….. Sponsored in memory of Jake March.


Noddy
Noddy is an 8 yr. old big shorthaired white and gray male. He came in with his friends Buddy and Cinnamon. He is neutered and good with other cats and children. Sponsored by anonymous.
